AMIIE stands for Associate Member of the Indian Institution of Engineers (AMIIE). It is a professional certification awarded by the Indian Institution of Engineers (IIE), which is a statutory body to promote and advance the engineering and technology professions in India.
AMIIE is primarily designed for engineers who have completed their B.Tech./B.E. degrees but do not have a formal engineering degree recognized by the IEI. It allows them to become associate members of the institution and gain professional recognition.
The AMIIE certification requires passing a series of examinations conducted by the IIE, which assesses the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and practices. It serves as a pathway for engineers to enhance their qualifications and professional standing within the engineering community in India.
