Indian Institution Engineers (IIE) is one of the oldest professional institutions in India established in 2001 to promote, advance and update knowledge, business & practice of engineering professionals.
IIE Institution is thus helping thousands of younger members of community working in engineering to obtain engineering qualification & also to advance their technical knowledge & enhance their engineering career but, who have been unfortunate in securing admission in regular Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges due to no fault of their through non formal system of education.
IIE is committed to support and promote professional learning (both for students and for existing practitioners), managing professional ethics and safeguarding the status of Engineers, Technologists and representing the interest of the respective profession in dealing with the Government and various other sectors of the Society.
Engineering & Technical profession, although is the oldest profession, did not have a Society of its own in India like other professions. To fill this vaccum and to improve and establish the standard of Engineering & Technical profession the IIE was formed
